MISSION STATEMENT OF THE
Centre Region Model Investment Club (CRMIC)
The mission of CRMIC is to bring individuals interested in learning sound investment principles together in a model investment club on a monthly basis to exchange ideas and provide mutual support in studying, purchasing, and selling stocks and other investments.
History of CRMIC: The Centre Region Model
Investment Club was founded on May 12, 2008, by its seven founding Primary Partners. CRMIC is
supported by the Central PA Chapter of BetterInvesting located in the
Purpose of CRMIC:
- To invest assets of the Partnership solely in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities for the education and benefit of the Partners.
- To provide a learning environment for Partners to improve their investment skills.
- To illustrate BetterInvesting’s investing principles, Stock Selection Guide, and other investing tools.
- To discuss the conditions of the current stock market environment.
Another benefit of CRMIC is that Partners will learn sound operational procedures for an investment club. Also, information will be provided on upcoming investment workshops, programs, and conferences offered locally and nationally.
