Another website of interest is  http://www.iclub.com.  ICLUB develops software used by many investment clubs.

Pick 1: Stocks to purchase are selected through a process called Pick 1 where one club member is responsible for bringing one stock to the monthly meeting for review by members.  General and financial information and pros and cons for the stock are presented to the partners on a comparison fact sheet.  A Stock Selection Guide (SSG) is completed for the stock. The stock is also evaluated using the Online SSG's Comparison Guide. After an open discussion, decisions are made to bypass or purchase the stock presented. The pick 1 stock for August 2024 was LuluLemon Athletica (LULU).  (An indepth description of the Stock Selection Guide is presented in the Partner Packet. )

Many investors are not confident about their ability to do accurate technical analysis of quality growth stocks. They tend to rely too much on historical data to forecast future sales and earnings growth. They also make mistakes in predicting future P/E Ratios. These errors in judgment often result in inaccurate calculation of Upside/Downside Ratios, resulting in poor investing decisions. If this sounds like YOU, then please register to attend this educational event. The Directors of the Central PA Chapter of BetterInvesting will cover all sections of the Stock Selection Guide (SSG) and answer any questions you may have.
